Artist Statement:

This piece was first created as a Spirit Portrait for a client who resonates with each and every symbol painted here. While this piece is a reflection of my client’s spirit, I believe that its message and symbols can be applied to everyone.

A black and white wolf face invites us into the piece. It hovers in a purple orb of shooting stars and galaxies, a portal of sorts into the inner world of the soul. Wolves carry huge symbolism, mostly that of feminine strength, and are known to be the guardians of the soul. The wolf in this piece is surrounded by flora and fauna that invite the viewer into their own story. One can explore this piece and find their own meaning in its symbols. From the butterfly to the lobster, this piece incorporates the elements of air, water, earth and fire to guide its viewers through a moment of reconnection to their inner world.

It is an invitation to a meditative space, to see through the purple wisdom of the third eye.
