Artist Statement:

From the Mountain Goat on land to the Giant Pacific Octopus in the sea, everything is connected. This piece features the Harlequin Toad, a creature who has survived near extinction, who now teaches us humans about the balance and connection of all of life.

Here I have imagined the octopus, the toad, and the mountain goat in a great balancing dance of life- one in which the well-being of one impacts all in a circle of unity.
